Philadelphia Business Journal Highlights Substantial Gift from Nancy Witty to the Temple Lung Center in Honor of Her Late Husband

The Philadelphia Business Journal highlighted a seven-figure gift from Nancy Witty to the Temple Lung Center in honor of her late husband, Robert, who was a transplant patient. Temple will use the gift to build a new, expanded bronchoscopy suite – formally known as the Advanced Interventional Pulmonary Procedural Suite. The new suite will feature three procedure rooms, clinical support space, and rooms for the storage and sterile processing of the scopes used in treatment. In recognition of the Witty family’s extraordinary commitment, the new space, which is expected to be completed in fall 2022, will be named in honor of Robert O. Witty.
