Philadelphia Inquirer and Saucon Source Articles Highlight Match Day at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine

The Philadelphia Inquirer and Saucon Source highlighted “Match Day” at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University on Friday, March 17th. At the annual event, graduating medical students simultaneously opened envelopes containing the letters identifying their residency programs and learned where they will be spending their next few years of training. The Inquirer interviewed Katz School of Medicine students Schyler Edwards, Demetrius Woodard, and Timothy Yeung about their journey to medical school, choice of specialty, and where they matched. Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, the Marjorie Joy Katz Dean of the Katz School of Medicine, also spoke with the publication. Saucon Source interviewed Temple/St. Luke’s students Adriana Facchiano, Joseph Evans, Alex Rizzo, and Juliet Panichella and spoke with Shaden Eldakar-Hein, MD, MS, Senior Associate Dean at the Katz School of Medicine at Temple University/St. Luke’s University Health Network and Associate Professor at the Katz School of Medicine.
