The Philadelphia Inquirer highlighted Natalia Ortiz-Torrent, MD, FAPA, FAPM, FPCP, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Medical Director of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry at Temple University Hospital, and her election as president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society in an article recognizing significant accomplishments in the Philadelphia area Latino community in 2020. Dr. Ortiz-Torrent is the first Hispanic woman to hold the position in the history of the organization.
