State Rep. Morgan Cephas, State Sen. Christine Tartaglione and Kimberly Hanson, BSN, MHA, Vice President of Nursing Clinical Operations at Temple University Health System, along with additional legislators and advocates, announced new funding for maternal and child health at Temple’s Hospital for Women’s Health at 1331 E. Wyoming Ave. on April 14th. More than $25 million in American Rescue Plan funds will create the Nurturing Maternal and Child Health Initiative in Pennsylvania – this funding includes more than $5 million for new equipment at Temple University Hospital for Women’s Health.
