The Philadelphia Inquirer published a series of articles about Hahnemann University Hospital (HUH) and highlighted how Temple is stepping up in the wake of HUH’s upcoming closure. The first piece described how Temple has continued to deliver quality care to an increased number of emergency department and labor and delivery patients. It also included remarks given by Marc P. Hurowitz, DO, MBA, FAAFP, Chief Executive Officer of Jeanes Hospital and Temple Physicians Inc., at a public hearing of the House Democratic Policy Committee. The second article highlighted the fact that many Hahnemann residents are choosing to continue their residencies at TUH. As of Friday, 82 have agreed to come to Temple.
