Scott Charles, Trauma Outreach Manager at Temple University Hospital, was interviewed for a Philadelphia Inquirer column that advocates for a citywide gun lock campaign. He runs Temple’s Safe Bet program, which gives out free gun locks – no questions asked. A few weeks ago in Philadelphia, a 14-year-old found an unsecured gun and accidentally shot his 2-year-old cousin, who was fatally wounded.
