Southeast Missouri’s local NPR station KRCU covered the Hope Center for College, Community and Justice’s #RealCollege HBCU report, which highlighted that more than half of the HBCU students surveyed reported experiencing housing insecurity and noted the disproportionate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on HBCU students exacerbated existing racial disparities in basic needs access.
