Temple Health’s Excellence in Health Equity: Multiple Outlets Highlight Dr. Stephen Dachert's Research Presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference

Stephen Dachert, MD, a third-year fellow in pulmonary and critical care at Temple University Hospital, presented research at the 2024 ATS International Conference that found use of biologics significantly reduced exacerbations and hospitalizations in adults with COPD and overlapping type 2 asthma inflammation. Healio Pulmonology and Medscape highlighted the importance of the Temple study’s diverse patient population, which oftentimes is underrepresented in large, randomized clinical trials.
