Temple University Hospital will provide eight emergency beds in a new facility called the Long-Term Recovery Residence Development. PhillyVoice described the development, led by Project HOME at 115 E. Huntingdon St., as the first in a series of Philadelphia Housing Authority efforts to fund partner organizations that can create and sustain more affordable housing in Philadelphia. The 54 efficiency apartments will be for people experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or recovering from a substance use disorder and will give residents access to services including education, employment and health care.
