Temple University Hospital’s New Menus and Diet Study Featured by Philadelphia Inquirer

Temple University Hospital-Main Campus recently began giving all patients the option to order off two new menus: one modeled on a Mediterranean diet, and the other entirely plant-based vegan. The menus are also the basis of a study by second-year Cardiology fellow, Lily Nedda Dastmalchi, DO. Dr. Dastmalchi devised the study with the help of Michele Ondeck Williams, MS, RD, LDN, Manager, Clinical Nutrition Department at Temple University Hospital and Jeffery Klova, Executive Chef at Temple University Hospital. The Philadelphia Inquirer featured the new menus and the study.
