Dog Days of Summer is always one of everyone’s favorite events, but this year, it felt extra special. That’s probably because there were so many adorable dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Irish Wolfhounds to Huskies to Chihuahuas to Bichon Frises. It was almost like being at the Westminster Dog Show—except almost every pet there was up for adoption!
They came to TUH-Main Campus courtesy of Morris Animal Foundation, the Pennsylvania SPCA, Street Tails Animal Rescue, Philly Rescue Angels, and Philly Bully Team. Our rescue partners were joined by two vendors: Melmo’s Dog Treats and Pet-Friendly Dog Bakery.
Our Temple Health team members couldn’t have been more excited about the opportunity to buy treats and snuggle with their new furry friends—as you can see from our pictures! Scroll through our photos to see the dogs who are searching for their forever homes, and check out your colleagues bonding with their four-legged BFFS!
