Tiffany Denson, BSN, RN was recently honored with TUH-Main Campus’ Service Excellence Employee of the Month Award for November 2024. She was singled out for her professionalism, her ability to handle challenging situations, and her dedication to providing her patients and their families with the full spectrum of care. “Tiffany consistently goes above and beyond for all patients and their loved ones and is often recognized for the care she provides. Tiffany cared for a critically ill patient with a very challenging family member. She maintained her composure and spoke with the family member. She recognized that what was happening was not about her, but about the impossible situation the family was in.
While others would have switched assignments or banned family members, Tiffany took the approach of finding out what the true issues were for the family. She identified that the patient’s spouse had been sleeping in his car while his wife was hospitalized and advocated for him to get a place to stay at Howie’s House. She provided holistic care not only for the patient, but for her whole family. Tiffany deserves to be recognized for her contributions and dedication to our patients.”
