Temple Health has once again been recognized by Forbes on its America’s Best-In-State Employers list . . . the third time that Temple Health has earned a spot on the prestigious list. Temple Health earned a Top 100 ranking among the nearly 4,000 businesses in Pennsylvania with over 500 employees (putting Temple Health in the top 2%) and a Top 10 ranking among healthcare providers in the Commonwealth.
“This honor is possible because of our employees and we’re truly honored and proud to call them our colleagues,” said Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Temple Health. “We want Temple Health to be a place where the careers of our employees can continue to thrive. The Forbes Best-In-State list is significant recognition of the meaningful work they do, and the many reasons why professionals like them choose to work here.”
To create its Best-In-State Employers list, Forbes and Statista (the independent party that performed the analysis and generated the rankings) surveyed the employees of large companies with more than 500 employees. They asked them to rate their willingness to recommend their own employer to friends and family, evaluate other employers in their industry and state, and offer opinions about their current employer on topics such as working conditions, diversity, salary, potential for development, and company image.
