The Temple Lung Center, a recognized national leader in the clinical care of serious lung disease, opened a new clinic location at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus on March 29. The new location will allow patients in Northeast Philadelphia, Eastern Montgomery County and Bucks County to have access to Temple pulmonologists and services closer to home.
“We are pleased to bring The Temple Lung Center’s celebrated range of academic medical treatments to more patients throughout the communities served by Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus,” said Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Temple University Health System and Temple University Hospital. “Patients will benefit from a greater array of therapeutic options delivered with more convenience by some of the top physicians in the region and nation,” he added.

The new Temple Lung Center location on the TUH – Jeanes Campus will offer a variety of services, including an outpatient clinic with over 20 sub-specialty programs, bronchoscopy, thoracic surgery and critical care/ICU services. The outpatient clinic will have a special focus in asthma/allergy, COPD, advanced lung disease/lung transplantation, pulmonary sleep medicine and lung cancer. Patients will also have access to a wide array of clinical trials. All cancer care is managed by Fox Chase Cancer Center oncologists, who are national leaders in conducting innovative research and treatment of lung cancer.
Containing 7 exam rooms and free parking just feet away from the office, the brand new clinic space is especially designed for pulmonary patients complete with oxygen hookup and easy access to other services at the TUH – Jeanes Campus. Immediate appointments are available by calling 215-728-CARE.

The TUH – Jeanes Campus is the latest satellite location for the Temple Lung Center. The Temple Lung Center already has satellite clinic locations at Oaks, Chestnut Hill Hospital and Ft. Washington, providing more options for patients with advanced lung disease in convenient locations.
