Healthgrades is a national healthcare data company that develops objective ratings based on risk-adjusted, publicly-reported outcome data and other information. Hospitals recognized as among the top 5 in their state for Gastrointestinal Surgery are providing patients with consistently better-than expected clinical outcomes and patients have, on average, a 28.4% lower risk of experiencing a complication or dying while in the hospital than if they were treated in other hospitals *.
