Thanks to specialists with the expertise to quickly evaluate, diagnose and treat stroke, Temple's Stroke Program is saving lives and improving stroke outcomes. We're one of the largest and most experienced stroke programs in the Delaware Valley, treating more than 400 stroke patients a year.

Saving Lives with Advanced Treatment and Prevention

At Temple's Stroke Centers, we provide a wide range of advanced stroke treatments, including minimally invasive clot-busting medication and surgical options. Patients also have access to treatment through innovative clinical trials and our specialists' research to find new advances in stroke treatment and prevention.

Using expertise and today's technology, our specialists also focus on preventing strokes through early detection of risks and signs of stroke. Using innovative neurosurgical procedures, they can open blocked arteries and repair aneurysms. Temple's Stroke Prevention Clinic also provides education on heart health, diabetes and weight, along with personalized support with exercise, diet, and ways to stop smoking and improve your lifestyle.
