Henry P. Parkman, MD, Stanley H. Lorber Research Endowment Fund and Chair of Gastroenterology, Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the GI Motility Laboratory at Temple University Hospital, offered insight to Healio Gastroenterology on a study published in BMC Gastroenterology which found that patients with symptoms of gastroparesis – including those with diabetic and idiopathic etiologies – demonstrated a prevalence for peripheral neuropathy.
