The honor puts TUH in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient safety.

Temple University Hospital – including its Main, Jeanes, Episcopal and Northeastern campuses – has been recognized by Healthgrades as a 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ recipient. The honor puts Temple University Hospital (TUH) in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient safety. This is the second year in a row TUH has earned this honor (2024-2025). In 2024, TUH was in the top 10 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient safety.

This latest recognition for TUH follows others from Healthgrades, including the America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2025™ (2024, 2023), America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care Award™ (2025, 2024, 2023); the Pulmonary Care Excellence Award™ (2025, 2024); and the Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award™ (2024).
