Temple’s hospital medicine physicians provide comprehensive general medical care to patients who are hospitalized. These doctors, known as hospitalists, are board certified in internal medicine and focus on diagnosing, treating and coordinating your care and nonsurgical procedures while you are staying in the hospital, as well as educating you about your medical condition.
Hospitalists work as partners with primary care doctors and specialists to provide the highest level of patient care during a hospital stay. Patients can rest assured knowing Temple’s hospitalists are overseeing their care 24 hours a day while they are in the hospital.
