Once a diagnosis has been made by the multidisciplinary committee, treatment begins. Temple offers the following treatments to ILD patients:
- Medications (including nintedanib and pirfenidone in patients with IPF)
- Pulmonary rehabilitation
- Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
- Navigational bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy (EBUS)
- Standard bronchoscopy with or without transbronchial biopsy
- Lung transplantation
