Ongoing research shows some diseases present differently in women than in men. At the Temple Lung Center, we developed the Women's Lung Disease Program to specifically address the reality that women’s lung diseases are diagnosed and treated at rates lower than men. This program — the first of its kind in the Philadelphia region — provides comprehensive services for lung disease, just for women.
Our all-women team includes pulmonologists, pulmonary vascular specialists, thoracic surgeons, sleep medicine specialists, speech pathologists and dietitians. We offer expert evaluation, specialized treatment and clinical trials for select patients.
