Temple primary care doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide comprehensive care for the entire family, with providers specializing in both family medicine and general internal medicine. Preventive Care
Preventive care helps you maintain your health, and the health of your family, so you can focus on what’s important. We offer a variety of preventive services, including:
- Health screenings for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and cancer
- Immunizations and vaccinations
- Routine and sports physicals
- Allergy shots
- Wellness counseling and education
Many of our primary care practices participate in the state-sponsored Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) program. As a PCMH, we are focused on quality improvement and ensuring that patients have easy access to care. We also have a team of nurses who supports high-risk patients in managing multiple chronic conditions and complex health needs and Community Health Workers who address social needs, such as transportation or housing.
