A support group can connect you to other people who understand exactly what you’re facing. Through the Temple Lung Center, we offer support groups for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis and smoking cessation. Learn more about these groups:

This support group — for sharing your lung transplant journey with others and learning more about lung disease and the transplant process — is held on the last Tuesday of every month.
Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group
Many people with pulmonary fibrosis, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), find it helpful to talk to others who understand their challenges and can offer support and advice.

Sarcoidosis Support Group
Sarcoidosis is a complex disease that can involve multiple organs in the body, and can be difficult for patients who suffer from it as there is no cure. Connecting patients with this support group can lead to advances in research as we strive to better understand this disease.
